American Air Systems, Inc. was started in 1982 by Don Potter and serves residential customers in Jefferson, Hardin, and Orange counties. They provide maintenance, service on all AC systems, central air conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps, air filters, indoor air quality with sales and service options. The company continues to operate as a family-owned business when he turned it over to his son, Lee Potter, in 2018. American Air Systems, Inc. stays involved in the Southeast Texas community in various ways, including their Annual AmerAirCares HVAC system giveaway. Several employees are engaged on local nonprofit boards of directors, volunteer in various organizations, and otherwise support the community.
